2017 RM Yachts RM 1270 – Performance Cruising Yacht

RM Yachts RM 1270, built in 2017, is a fast, comfortable and well-maintained performance cruising yacht, combining French design, modern construction and practical offshore capability.

With a hull length of 12.12 m and an overall length of 13.18 m including bowsprit, this RM 1270 offers excellent stability, strong sailing performance and spacious accommodation for comfortable cruising. Her beam of 4.35 m provides a bright and practical interior layout, suitable for family cruising, longer passages and autonomous sailing.

The yacht is built using RM’s well-known epoxy/wood composite construction, giving a strong and lightweight structure. She has 3 cabins, one shower/toilet compartment, an electric toilet, air conditioning, premium audio system and a comprehensive navigation package.

She is powered by a Volvo Penta D2-55 diesel engine, 55 hp, from 2017, with approximately 850 engine hours. Manoeuvring is made easier with Jet Thruster bow and stern thrusters.

This RM 1270 has received important recent upgrades, including full repaint in 2026, new antifouling in 2026, new forestay and backstay in 2025, new sprayhood and bimini in 2025, all sheets and halyards replaced in 2024, and an additional air-conditioning duct to the forward cabin. The third cabin was converted into a full sleeping berth in 2026.

The sail inventory is extensive and includes mainsail 2024, Jib 2 2024, Jib 3 2024, A3 2018, A2 2025, A0 2025, heavy-weather jib 2024, staysail 2020 and wind seeker 2026.
