One-design sailing in Spain

Fareast 28R Fleet Project

A fleet concept for close one-design racing, structured training, club programmes, regattas and selected commercial partnerships in the Spanish Mediterranean.

Fleet concept

Identical boats, shared sailing opportunities

The project brings Fareast 28R yachts together as a one-design platform. With comparable boats on the water, training and racing can focus on crew work, tactics and sailing skill rather than equipment differences.

Premium Yachts Spain is developing the concept for practical use by private owners, yacht clubs, sailing schools, event organisers and partners. The final fleet structure, location and programme depend on the participants and agreements involved.

Why the Fareast 28R

A documented one-design racing platform

The separate model page holds the current technical specification. For fleet planning, these are the most relevant supported characteristics.

One-design racing

Positioned for organised competition and multi-boat programmes.

9.07 m platform

A compact race yacht with a published crew figure of eight people.

Club & training use

Relevant to regatta teams, yacht clubs, sailing schools and training programmes.

Fleet organisation

Identical yachts simplify the structure of training blocks and one-design events.

Racing & training

Programmes built around time on the water

A Fareast 28R fleet can support skills development, team practice, club racing and event formats. The programme can be discussed for an established sailing organisation or developed with selected partners around a defined venue and audience.

  1. One-design team and match-racing sessions
  2. Yacht-club and sailing-school training blocks
  3. Corporate or private regatta formats
  4. Selected regional events and class-development activity
